Recognize Letters in the Environment
• Walk around the classroom with a letter, looking for it around the room.
• Have students help you match uppercase and lowercase letters (S-Z).

Review Name:
• Distribute Name Cards
• Post a few Letter cards on the white board.
• Have students place their name under the letter on the board. 

Sight Words: see, a
• Map it, Spell it, Read it, Write it

Read Pre-Decodable Text
• Read the sentence frame with students and have students help you complete the sentence. 
• "I see a ____". 


Phonological Awareness 
 • Use Heggerty Program. 
• Go over the different activities and movements.
